PCEDM Annual Convention 2024

General Information

The PCDEM takes a new leap on its 2024 Annual Convention.

This year, we have extended the conference to 3 days, veering away from our usual 2-day convention.  This is to give way to a more extensive program that includes 6 plenary sessions, 9 clinical symposia, 6 research avenues that include a presentation from the Journal of ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies (JAFES).  These cover an comprehensive line up of discussions by our stellar speakers about diabetes, obesity, thyroid, male infertility, menopause, PCOS, MEN, pheochromocytoma, hyperparathyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, precocious puberty, panhypopituitarism, and MAFLD.  Case-based approach in management of endocrine disorders will be presented in the 9 Meet-the-Experts meetings.

Moreover, as this year was purposely themed “Expanding Frontiers in Endocrinology”, we added new exciting topics and sessions to our conference.  We kick-off the convention by the 2nd ADL Lecture of Distinction with a focus on the circadian rhythm in the elderly with obesity.  New Philippine guidelines on osteoporosis, hyperthyroidism, and obesity will be highlighted in the plenary sessions.  We also included sessions on fascinating topics of artificial intelligence, and basic science discourse about aging, endocrine disruptors, and updates on incretins.

Come and participate during our debate sessions on Day 2 and Day 3 of the convention.  This is a new format that we are introducing in this year’s convention with the aim of inducing critical thinking in our decisions when it comes to using injectable medication in diabetes, and the use of testosterone in aging male.

Remember that we still have a pre-convention part on March 19, 2024.  We have simultaneous workshops for thyroid ultrasound, and medical nutrition and the slots for these run out fast.

So, come and join us in the 2024 PCEDM Annual Convention and be one with us as we Expand the Frontiers in Endocrinology.
